| i need all this answered...breed history, this should include the country of origin, the original purpose of the breed, the names of the earliest breeders and the foundation sires and dams. breed standard.. the illistrated verision(pictures) in english. i would like to purchase it from someone. number of dogs in the country of origin and in any other country. the address of the asian kennel club. i am getting the thai bangkaew a registry here in the united states. it wont take long after i get these question answered. thank you all for all your help, robin abbott |

Have you contacted Amanda or Jill at http://www.tbdca.org/ yet? They bought their dogs from Mr.Jitti of Friendship kennel in Phitsanulok (http://www.bangkaew.com/friendship/) We are going to get FCI approve our TBD which may need some years to go. How can you register it in the united states and what will be the benefit for Bangkaew. sawadee ka pingpong, i have contacted tbdca and i dont think they are interested in sharing their dogs. i not sure why, i did not push the issue. mr jitti has emailed me and i returned a letter back to him but have not heard back from him since. i will be registering them with the united kennel club. i have beening showing there since the inception of conformation exhibition in 1994. i am a founding member of k9 fanciers kennel club. i will be showing in conformation, obedience, agility and weight pulling. we call it the total dog. the benefit will be: they will get acceptence in other clubs world wide quicker, here in the usa, akc will accept ukc stud books. in the long run: thai breeders will have a world wide sales market. for the bangkaew breed: it will allow a bigger gene pool in which to pick superior dogs to breed to and from. i personally never thought i would ever own any other breed of dog besides my beloved german shepherd dogs, but after seeing your bangkaew, i envy you having such magnicant animals! my husband is a old doberman breeder, he too is in shock by the beauty of the bangkaew(he really likes "taro"). we would like to share your breed with the rest of the usa.  |

The story of Yingyai is in Thai at http://www.bangkaew.com/carnivorous/index.html He is the son of a Thailand Champian TBD bought to the house of a doctor who wants show-quality dog but have no time to take care of him. So Yinyai shows his dominance over everyone in the house as his name(The great) goes. he was dispersed from his dominated house and still bites a lot of people before adopted by Flays mother.
